technology is confusing

Cables, Wires & Other Madness

Having been in digital editing for over a decade, it's been important that we know and understand the technology that we use. Because we also do work with clients at their sites, it's also been important that we know what they use as well. So we've spent a good deal of our time learning about and working with a lot of various tech. In the past three years, our team has even spent a bit of time teaching about the technology and supporting others as they venture into the digital wilderness.

No matter what platform you use, or what software you're stuck with, when you run into a problem it's always when you're about to accomplish something great. That's sort of Murphy's Digital Law Equivalent. We know, it happens to us, too.

But when it happens to you, by all means, don't kick your computer. Call us instead. We've got the skills, and while we'd like to see everyone on Macs instead of having to ever deal with Windows again, for you, we will. Because if you're not productive, how can we be productive for you?

But do you have backups?

DroboElite

This is the one thing that we've run into everywhere — people have crappy backups. Or they don't have them at all, which is so much worse that it makes us think bad about our friends, so we'll at least pretend you just have crappy backups, because you are awesome, as we well know, but your backup strategy sucks.

Sad truth is, so did ours. For a long time. But now it's better. In fact, it's so much better, I can solve your backup problems with one word: Drobo

And yes, by clicking that link and learning more about, and even purchasing a Drobo, helps us out. So by all means, click away!

Training Services

The problem that most people have is not knowing how to use the tools that sit right in front of them in that little box called a "pee cee". Between being told they could destroy, have all their personal information used against, and perhaps even getting a horrible case of the Google "Safe Search Off"-itis, there's a lot to worry about when it comes to computers.

We, however, can help you get over the hump of a learning curve in record time, and both understand the basics of how, and help you find the best way of doing things for you. From learning the various intricacies of Microsoft's Office Suite to Adobe Photoshop to Apple software and hardware, we can and will be happy to help you. Give us a call.

On-Site Tech Services

If you run into problems with your systems, or just need someone to check things out because something seems wrong, we can help. From trouble-shooting networking issues to fixing Windows installs to anti-viruses to setting up a new office space to work better for you, we've got the skills and people to help you.

Give us a call and tell us what's going on, and we'll see what we can do. We don't charge for the call when you tell us what's going wrong. And the really good thing is that we can usually diagnose the issue, and get you up and running from the call, especially if we've worked with you before.
